About Us

BC Diabetes Foundation (BCDF), originally named the BC Endocrineresearch Foundation, was established in 1995 after a generous gift by Morris Wosk, a client of Dr. Elliott’s.  Morris continued to support the BCDF until his passing in 2002. With those funds and gifts of many supporters since, both clients of the physician board members and and industry partners, over the past 28 years the BCDF has supported diverse educational, research and granting programs involving all areas of endocrinology, but primarily in diabetes and in the last few years, solely in diabetes (hence its name change).
